Parish Pastoral Council

Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) at St. Michael Catholic Community has undergone some change in the past couple of years. Prior to Father Julian's arrival, the primary role of council was to provide prayer support for the community. Fr. Julian asked Council to adjust its priority towards being an advisory group and reformed the council with membership drawn from various ministry leaders and 3 at large members. This initial PPC determined that the constitution did not adequately reflect their primary role, that being an advisory group to the pastor. A new constitution was developed with the support of Fr. Julian. In June 2008, PPC adopted a revised constitution (which is posted below) and in doing so disbanded itself. As a transition, the present council members were all individually asked by pastoral staff to serve on council, with future councils to be composed of both elected and appointed members as per the newly adopted constitution.
