Knights of ColumbusThe Knights of Columbus, founded in 1882 has over 1.6 million members worldwide. It is a fraternal order of Catholic men dedicated to the ideals of Charity, Fraternity and Patriotism. The organization serves by doing charitable works and supporting the Church. Membership is open to any practicing Catholic gentleman who is in union with the Holy See and who is at least 18 years of age. Our Council at St Michael is Father Lawrence Carroll Council #8636. Here at St. Michael’s our council mission is Faith, Family and Fraternity. We support the church in a wide variety of activities and events to bolster St Michael's strong sense of community as well as assisting other ministries. Events In the past :
The Knights are also a great opportunity to get together with other men in the parish, form new friendships, share our family experiences and deepen our faith. The time commitment is NOT as overwhelming as some of you may think. Our general meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of the month we volunteer our time and talents for the good of the parish as the Spirit moves us. Your time commitment is totally voluntary.
