Liturgical Environment CommitteeVision:
- The beauty and the character of the worship space and all should lead the community into a deeper worship of our Lord.
- The liturgical environment should foster devotion and display a holiness of the celebration therein.
- The liturgical environment that creates the worship space should speak of the mystery of our faith as well as hospitality and service.
- The liturgical environment should foster an awareness of the sacred in the community.
- The liturgical environment must enhance the celebration and inspire the community into praise and worship.
Mission:
- The focus of the 'Liturgical Environment Committee' is to prepare the worship area with appropriate decorations to enhance our liturgical celebrations.
- The Liturgical Environment Committee specifically focuses on advent / Christmas, Triduum, and Easter Seasons.
- The committee plans, designs and executes ideas by sharing their God given talents and creates the environment for liturgical celebrations throughout the seasons of the Church year.
Volunteers:
- If you like to be creative, this committee is a great way to share your talents.
- Members of the committee hold planning sessions before each liturgical season.
- Your involvement would be greatly appreciated.
