The Edge

Vision and Mission:

The Edge Program at St.Michael's Catholic Community exists for the purpose of:

• Gathering:
  To encourage young teens in grades 6, 7 and 8 to become part of God's family and the Catholic Community of believers.

• Meetings:
  Mondays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

• Growing:
  To guide the young teens to full maturity in Jesus so that they become all that he has called them to be in life and in ministering to others.

• Giving:
  To equip these young teens to be faithful workers in the Kingdom of God by using their God given spiritual gifts to serve others and to build a strong Christian community.

• Going:
  To facilitate the young teens to evangelize by sharing with others what God has done for them and what he can do for others.

• Glorifying:
  To encourage the young teens, by our example to praise God in all that we say and all that we do, so that they may become light to those around them and examples for the world to see.

• Loving Continually:
  Teens in the program are loved and accepted for who they are and where they are in their spiritual journey.

• Forgiving Unconditionally:
  Teens are forgiven unconditionally for are faults are also forgiven.

• Encouraged Constantly:
  Teens are constantly encouraged to strive to achieve to the best of their abilities in all of the Spirit Life activities, according to their God given potential.

• Live Enthusiastically:
  Teens are reminded that they need to live with enthusiasm since God empowers them with the strength and grace to fulfil their aspirations.
