Annual Bishop's Appeal

The Annual Bishop's Appeal (ABA) is the one major fund raising project in the Calgary Diocese. ABA coordinates the requests made by a wide variety of agencies both local and international. ABA has as its foundation, the one concept of "Stewardship" - a personal commitment to donate one's time, talent and treasure in support of the good works of the Church.

The campaign typically runs during Lent each year. ABA campaign management starts a few months in advance of the campaign. It includes pledge materials management, parish and in-pew mailings, guest speaker invitation and assistance and presentations by both the Pastor and ABA coordinator.
