Catholic Women's League

The CWL is the largest Catholic women’s organization in the world. A strong and necessary Catholic church element for God and our country with mission to Catholic family and community life at home and abroad.

Your membership supports your parish, regional and national councils. The CWL is a lobbying force at all governmental levels.

Our national executive meets with the Prime Minister yearly with resolutions proposed by its members. The CWL lobbies for change in health; justice; safety and education issues.

Your membership empowers all Catholic women to step forward in faith and action in women’s ministry.

There is spiritual development at the heart for individual and group spiritual growth. Our monthly meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month from September to June at 7:00 so, mark your calendars and watch the bulletin for announcements! The CWL provides a great opportunity to socialize with the women of the parish and at the diocesan level.

Your membership fee is a nominal amount of $20.00 and you will receive a subscription to The Canadian League quarterly magazine.
